Let’s be clear. This is NOT about the pay-per-view you found your girlfriend watching when you arrived home early from golf.
Mrs. Shock Doctor and I are thinking about replacing the Amana Radar Range Microwave we purchased at the Toronto Home Show in the ’80’s. Click here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRc3Lmscs9Y for an idea of what it’s like
Anyway, we decided to do some research on what’s available and after checking out a few names that folks had thrown at us (Panasonic https://panasonic.ca/english/appliance/microwave/index.asp; Cusinart https://www.cuisinart.ca/cuisinart_product.php?product_id=371&item_id=336&cat_id=22; GE Profile Spacemaker https://www.geappliances.ca/) we ran them through Amazon to compare prices.
It was a fun passtime and we marvelled at how the technology had increased and the size and PRICE decreased so dramatically.
Next day in our email inboxes were comparisons of all these machines sorted by Amazon and its suggestions as to what might be the optimum counter top microwave for us. AMAZING! we think.
Day after that Amazon has decided that since we didn’t respond by buying one of the optimum counter top units it would be prudent to sent us the information on over the range units.
I have heard that many folks feel this is a huge invasion, but we at the Shock Doctor household are thrilled that someone has done all this research for us.
Bravo Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/ you have saved two shopping haters mucho suffering.
